Hair for The Little Princess Trust.

So the time has come. On July 11th, 2012, I cut off my hair, that I have been growing for more than ten years, for those in need of a wig. I miss my hair already and I scare myself in the mirror; silly isn't it?
Thanks to those who supported me and sponsored me!

Hunger Games.

I was gonna write this ages ago but I've been so busy once again. But this is for Itpeed. I'm taking out special time for you. c; So.. THE HUNGER GAMES! *BEWARE SPOILERS*

It's been about two-three weeks since I've read Mockingjay but it's still stuck with me. My favourite line is  "You love me. Real or not real?" - I tell him, "Real.". It's just so cute and heartwarming after all they've been through. I have to say Mockingjay is my second favourite book out of all three (Catching Fire being the first (I don't get why everyone dislikes that one most.. I guess it's the first few chapters that are least exciting)). Every chapter seems to end with a cliffhanger that leaves me dazed and eager to read the next chapter (which was so bad for my coursework). My favourite cliffhanger in Mockingjay was (I think) ch13 when Peeta is brainwashed and tries to strangle Katniss because of his many illusions of how dangerous Katniss is and thinking that she isn't even human. Shocker. Tehe.. Anyway, the reason why Catching Fire is my favourite is because Katniss starts to explore the wonders of life (if you get what I mean), like drinking (of course with Haymitch), having nothing to do if you're not fetching food for your family (it left me realising how lucky I am to even have this time to blog instead of out in some woods, hunting), having boy problems (actually realising a bit that she does care and love Peeta but not quite sure what kind of love yet) and etc..

Another of my favourite quotes is "You could live a hundred lifetimes and still not deserve him, you know." - Haymitch.

For my friend's birthday, we saw The Hunger Games movie the second day it was released in England. Me and Frosty were just sat shaking our heads at each other at every part they portrayed wrong (as I had read the book for the second time, capturing every detail just to have the fun of picking out). I cannot believe they cut Madge out of the story. I thought the story of Katniss' mother and Madge's aunt having a relation was significant and how Madge's aunt used to possess the Mockingjay badge until she inherited it. And was I the only one who imagined Haymitch as a fat drunkard?
But what I did like about the film was that they demonstrated the view of the Gamemakers, and the ironic death of Seneca Crane (the 74th Hunger Games Head Gamemaker) when he was left and locked in a room with only a bowl of Nightllock Berries. Hah.
But don't be put off if you're yet to watch the film. But just READ the book FIRST. You'll regret it if you don't.

Team Peeta!

Stereotyping.

It's so easy to point at someone who looks different from what a "normal" person would look like and label them as "emo", "chav", "retard", "loner", "geek/nerd", "homo" etc. and judge them from their behaviour or simply what you can see. I'm not saying I don't do it to the occasional group of "chavs" but I do realise it's unfair; so utterly unfair. Sometimes the result of stereotyping someone makes them think that they are that "thing" and ultimately creates them to become the "thing". Sometimes it helps make them stronger.
I find that the less I judge, the less I hate others. Just a thought.
Another thing is, judge yourself before you judge others. Everyone's equal. Every sin is equal.
If you're someone that's being judged for something you stand for, why change yourself to be a clone of someone else? Be unique. Stand for your beliefs, even if it means sacrificing something.
P.S. It's 11:30pm and I'm so tired but I drank too much coffee so excuse me if none of this makes sense.

Taylor Swift Mashup.

I realised it's been a few weeks since I've posted (if you don't catch up on coursework it really bites you on the "arse"). Last night, I came up with the idea that me and Frosty should learn a Taylor Swift song each and make a "mash-up". She's not so keen but she'll come around. c; Just thought you'd like to know (A.K.A. @Frosty, this is my statement that we will do a mashup).

SNOW!

The snow has finally arrived. Late. Anyway, it's been amazing so far.. Well apart from the wet feet and all. Snow angels here and there, frozen fingers (even whilst typing this, so I'm not gonna write much), no snow man yet.. I don't really like making them. Frosty and I failed to throw snowballs at each other, yet we got everyone else, happy days. :D Still, Frosty, watch out!
My first snowball of 2012.
